Oak City Labs

Oak City Labs was hired by Teen Health Research to assist with web development, content strategy, and design for a health research app. The CEO of Teen Health Research collaborated closely with Carol, the co-founder and CEO of Oak City Labs, in designing and developing content for the app. They conducted interviews with 100 potential customers to gather feedback and refine their project. The partnership started in May 2021 and is ongoing, with an investment of around $5,000. The client chose Oak City Labs for their clear vision and innovative ideas.

In another project, Oak City Labs was contracted by a laboratory network company to build a flexible system for their industrial hemp and cannabis testing laboratories. The system was designed to render test results specific to each state's regulations, simplifying the compliance process for customers. The CEO trusted Oak City Labs for their simple yet effective solutions and kept updated through weekly status reports. Carol and her team of 4-5 members worked closely on the project.

Oak City Labs also worked with Jigsawdio, an audio-visual Alzheimer's therapy company, to develop an iOS mobile app. The app was designed to allow customers to easily create personalized photo jigsaw puzzles with matching images and sounds. The client chose Oak City Labs due to their proximity, cultural fit, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with company values. A team of 2-5 employees from Oak City Labs developed the unique app from scratch, enabling customers to create and demonstrate puzzles before they are physically created.
