Highlights from Recent Projects
nventive x Wepoint worked with Montreal-based ice cream shop, La Diperie, to create an Android/iOS app to expand their digital marketing and loyalty program. The app, which cost over $100,000 to develop, allows users to customize their ice cream orders online, post their creations on social media, and participate in a loyalty program that offers electronic stamps for perks. The project began in November 2016 and was completed in May 2017, with ongoing adjustments still being made. The app has been successfully launched and is now being further developed to integrate in-app promotional opportunities.
The company also worked with Vowsmith, a personalized jewelry company, to rebuild their website and make it mobile-friendly. The project, which cost $15,000 CAD ($11,600 USD), involved integrating new technologies, redesigning the layout, and reconfiguring the CSS. The team also used WebGL, a 3D model view technology, to allow users to visualize ring customizations by capturing the customer’s fingerprint. The project began in December of the previous year and was completed the following week.
nventive x Wepoint was also hired by Scorched Ice, a company that has created the world's first Skating Intelligence Platform, to develop an MVP iOS Application. The application allows an individual to easily control 40 pairs of Smart Skate Sensors. The project required BLE pairing, setting up wifi on the sensors for file transfer, sending a start command, assigning the sensors to the correct players, and triggering the data upload to the existing web service. The company selected nventive x Wepoint for this project based on their positive experience with them on a previous project.
