Nuflux Media was hired by OMNI Publishing to handle all design aspects of their books. The president of OMNI Publishing, who is also the author of the books, wanted to create an elegant coffee-table type gift book. Nuflux Media was responsible for graphics, cover designs, and book layout design. The books included photographs and text. Nuflux Media also prepared the print-ready electronic files for submission for the book printings. The president of OMNI Publishing was familiar with the quality of work produced by Chuck Rees of Nuflux Media, as he had done the design work for their first book.
The project involved the president of OMNI Publishing writing the text for the book and selecting the photos to be used. Chuck Rees of Nuflux Media then did the complete layout for the books, including selecting all the fonts, optimizing the photos, and designing the front and back cover. He sent mockups for approval, and was always open to suggestions and ideas. Once the layout was approved, Chuck prepared the print-ready files to be submitted for printing the books.
The feedback from OMNI Publishing was overwhelmingly positive. They appreciated Chuck's insight and design talent, stating that he elevated the books beyond what they were hoping for. They also appreciated his honesty and openness to input. The president of OMNI Publishing stated that Chuck "totally nailed the look and feel" they were after.
