NRGsurf

NRGsurf completed a web application development project for a private international school in Germany. The project aimed to streamline the school's door-to-door bus transportation service, which previously relied on manual planning using a large map and colored pins. NRGsurf developed a web-based application that enabled bulk uploading of student home addresses, integrated with Google Maps to display each student's location, and suggested optimal bus routes and groupings. The application also allowed for manual adjustments such as changing bus routes, sizes, and adding late-starting students. The client praised NRGsurf for their quick response times and overall support, making the decision to work with them easy.

In another project, NRGsurf developed a survey and intervention platform for the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. The platform, designed for a research project, collects data on users' energy consumption over a six-week period and provides feedback and interventions to help reduce energy usage. Users can report their electricity usage, answer questions about their living situation, and receive tips on energy conservation. Following the data collection period, the platform randomly assigns users to different conditions to receive various types of feedback and interventions. NRGsurf was chosen for this project due to a positive reference from a partner of the university, and the successful completion of the project has led to ongoing engagement.
