NorthRock software GmbH completed a custom software development project for MD Elektronik GmbH, a company that specializes in smart car technology. The goal of the project was to create an application that could assess the suitability of candidates for store floor positions. The application, developed for the Microsoft Surface Tablet, included a digital dexterity test, knowledge tests, and a handwriting test, with the support of a neuroathletics trainer. In addition to the tablet application, a web-based dashboard was created for the HR department. The solution is currently being used at three international locations and is hosted and maintained by the development team. As a result of this project, the number of applicants per recruitment phase has doubled. Each location conducts over 1,000 runs of the digital recruitment test annually, and the results can be accurately compared across locations and over time.
