NorthRock Software GmbH was hired by MD Elektronik GmbH, a company that specializes in making cars smart and safer, for the development of a custom software. The main goal of the software was to determine the suitability of candidates for a store floor position using a digital dexterity test, knowledge tests, and a handwriting test. To achieve this, NorthRock developed an application for the Microsoft Surface Tablet and a web-based dashboard for the HR department. The solution is used at three international locations and is hosted and maintained by the development team. The result of this project was a significant increase in the number of applicants per recruitment phase, with each location conducting over 1,000 runs of the digital recruitment test annually. The software solution also allowed for high accuracy comparison of results across locations and over time.
