The project, which began in July 2020, is completed, but NorthBuilt continues to provide maintenance support and occasional troubleshooting. Dragotec USA, a North American distributor of the Drago Corn Head, engaged NorthBuilt Software Development for a custom software development project. The goal was to migrate their legacy .NET application to a modern .NET framework, integrate Microsoft Dynamics data into their dealer platform, implement CI/CD into their development workflow, and create a custom Configure-Price-Quote Tool (CPQ). NorthBuilt delivered on these objectives, enabling authenticated users of the dealer portal to submit new quote requests, view active quotes, sales orders, and invoices, among other functions. The project involved developing a web app based on phone app functionality/design, providing input on UX designs, maintaining and updating the app to meet iOS and Google requirements, and building new, monetized features. NorthBuilt not only improved the app's design but also consistently updated and maintained it, promptly fixing bugs. They also added new functionalities and nearly completed a major feature-add, which includes advanced financial tracking and the ability for users to subscribe to the app. The client was highly satisfied with NorthBuilt's work and plans to engage them for future projects.
