Highlights from Recent Projects
Nodero successfully developed a postmortem database for a university, addressing the challenge of implementing a consistent academic workload policy across multiple departments. They created a minimum viable product (MVP) over a 25-week period, using the Zurb Foundation framework, Angular 4, TypeScript, and Kendo UI components. The university found Nodero to be highly accommodating to early changes in the technical specification and their iterative discussions led to further product enhancements. The university spent approximately $135,000 on the MVP, support agreement, and product enhancements. The project ran from May to October 2018, with ongoing support and refinements.
Nodero was hired by the NZBCI, an energy firm, to build the NZECS registry, a platform for electricity certificate transactions. The firm's goal was to have a complete system built within time and budget constraints, meeting a minimum aesthetic and operational standard. Nodero's team, led by their founder and technical director, built the system and supporting architecture, and loaded the platform on AWS. The project involved around 8-10 people, including UX designers, programmers, a sales consultant, and user acceptance testing (UAT) testers. The system was successfully implemented, requiring only a link from the company homepage to be fully operational.
