Nickelfox was contracted by Crystal Pillar, an automobile manufacturing industry consultant, to create five IoT-based industrial automation solutions. These solutions were designed to streamline the production process, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. The software included features such as real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and automated quality control. Nickelfox's team of 6-10 employees worked closely with Crystal Pillar, from requirement gathering to deployment, ensuring a smooth transition from the existing system to the new solution. The final deliverables were a comprehensive software platform and modules for real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and automated quality control.
A sustainable energy company hired Nickelfox to develop their website using Microsoft's "Power App" product. The goal was to create a minimalist design that could present information about the organization's work in repowering coal plants quickly and with reduced risk. The website was to be launched during the COP 27 event in 2022, leaving a very short window for project completion. Nickelfox's team of 2-5 employees developed the front end of the website using HTML, CSS, and JS for front-end development and Figma for UI design.
Optimal Humans, a health and wellness startup, engaged Nickelfox for custom software and mobile app development. Nickelfox built a custom content management system and designed and developed a mobile app for iOS. The initial design of the app was done by another vendor, but Nickelfox took over the responsibility. The team of 7-8 people, including designers, developers, and QA people, managed by CTO Ravi, worked from October 2019–June 2022. The startup plans to engage Nickelfox again for design work to build a new dashboard for corporate wellness.
