Highlights from Recent Projects
Nextpoint Design was hired by X-Rite, a color measurement solutions company, to redesign the interfaces for a new instrument and software utility application. This project was crucial as it was intended to replace the company's top-selling product line. Nextpoint Design was chosen because of their familiarity with X-Rite's products and the unique nature of the business. They provided comprehensive services, including concept development, comprehensive drawings, guidelines, style sheets, graphical assets, and user testing. Despite challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the project continued with a scaled-back team.
Nextpoint Design provided staff augmentation for an automotive parts supplier, specializing in UI/UX design. The company lacked in-house capabilities in this area and required external support. Nextpoint Design provided a range of services including ideation, UI/UX design, user testability, flow, and graphical asset creation. The team size varied depending on the project, ranging from a single individual to a group of 5–6 people. The engagement began in January 2017 and is ongoing.
Airdrop Gaming, a gaming accessories company, hired Nextpoint Design to take over the creation of an Indiegogo campaign for a new product. The previous marketing firm had not delivered satisfactory results, leading to Nextpoint Design being brought in with a one-week deadline. Nextpoint Design committed their entire team to the project, producing a range of assets, wireframes, and storyboards, as well as designing the Indiegogo profile, producing video materials, and doing copywriting. The engagement took place in January 2019.
