Highlights from Recent Projects
Nextide was hired by George Brown College to develop a new website for their School of Distance Education. The team at Nextide designed a Drupal website that matched the aesthetic of the college's other websites and built a system to pull information from other websites or populate them through Drupal 8. The college had previously used Drupal 7, but Nextide helped them transition to using Drupal 8. The project began in August 2017 and the partnership is still ongoing, with Nextide providing continued support for the website.
Nextide worked with Cloudvisor Wealth Inc., a digital wealth management company, to develop web-based screens for the investor-facing part of their software. The team at Nextide first learned the API to connect to the backend of the system, then they began building mockups of the screens. The screens were developed using Drupal and are responsive for mobile and tablet. Nextide also developed the company's website. The project began in May 2016 and is ongoing, with Nextide continuing to make changes and customizations as needed.
The Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics hired Nextide to develop a large, complex internal intranet using the Drupal CMS platform. Over several years, Nextide worked on a range of initiatives, including building the intranet, developing a prototype scientific website on Drupal, and some UX/UI development. The Perimeter Institute provided Nextide with wireframes, system architecture, and business requirements, and Nextide devoted hundreds of hours to building the intranet. The partnership began in August 2011 and is ongoing, with Nextide being the go-to resource for anything related to Drupal.
