Highlights from Recent Projects
Nexeo partnered with AMI to modernize their line of orbital welding power supplies. The project involved the development of a new user interface that balanced futuristic aesthetics with ease of use for both existing and new customers. Nexeo was responsible for transforming the designers' vision into a functional interface that interacted with a backend API. The team, which consisted of a software architect, a realtime programmer, and a representative from Nexeo, used Flask and Python on the backend and web pages and Javascript on the frontend to create the interface.
In collaboration with Cure Autism Now, a non-profit organization, Nexeo developed several interactive websites to facilitate communication among scientists between meetings. The websites, which mirrored a Facebook-style interface, allowed scientists to share ongoing scientific progress and results. Nexeo also built a similar site for parents and professionals working with nonverbal autistic individuals. The sites were designed with a user-friendly backend that allowed the client to add new content or make changes. The team also built a personal website for the client to promote a book.
Nexeo worked with MD AirSupport, a company providing real-time remote video consultations for emergency workers, to develop and design their web application. The project involved creating a user admin portal that enabled clients to configure their accounts and set up schedules with remote doctors on call. Nexeo provided frontend development and UI framework development, interfacing with the client's backend system using custom APIs. The portal has been rolled out to customers, and Nexeo continues to work on enhancing its second version. The project was led by Nexeo's President and Founder, Stephan, and has involved an investment of over $100,000 since its commencement in February 2020.
