Nexa

Nexa was hired by ORMEN, a company providing software and hardware support for national lottery games, to conduct a Security Assessment and Penetration Testing for their new web platform. Nexa was selected due to their high ratings, proximity, great culture fit, good value for cost, and alignment with ORMEN's company values. The project involved exploring the application, determining the impact of a security failure on system integrity, information confidentiality, internal infrastructure, and system availability. Nexa provided a detailed report indicating findings and recommendations to mitigate all detected vulnerabilities and detailing weaknesses that could be addressed to strengthen the application's security.

In another project, Nexa partnered with an educational agency in Uruguay, providing IT infrastructure management services to support their educational platforms. Nexa was chosen for their ability to understand the agency's business and priorities and work closely with them on a daily basis. The team from Nexa, which includes a service manager, a technical leader, two database administrators, and three technicians, provides a range of services including cybersecurity. The agency has been working with Nexa since 2017 and continues to be satisfied with their services.

Nexa also worked with Banco de Seguros del Estado, a state-owned insurance provider in Uruguay, to enhance their cybersecurity infrastructure and implement a robust performance monitoring system and a RedHat Single Sign-On solution. Nexa conducted comprehensive offensive security assessments, including penetration testing, to identify potential vulnerabilities. They also implemented Nexamon, a performance monitoring system, and provided training for the IT team on its effective use and maintenance. Finally, they installed and provided ongoing support for a RedHat Single Sign-On solution, streamlining the company's authentication processes and bolstering security across their network. The projects were successful, with key deliverables including a comprehensive vulnerability report, a fully operational performance monitoring system, and a fully functional Single Sign-On solution.
