Highlights from Recent Projects
Newfire Global Partners developed a web-based platform for T1D Exchange, a network that provides services to patients with Type 1 diabetes. The platform, which serves patients, providers, and caregivers, includes social networking components and an engine for data collection and aggregation. The team of about 20 people was responsible for everything from ideation to maintenance. The project began in April 2017 and is ongoing, with T1D Exchange investing between $1 million and $5 million so far.
For ConsejoSano, a technology platform serving culturally diverse and underserved populations, Newfire Global Partners provided supplemental engineering support. They designed and developed a new website, establishing a brand identity and expanding the portfolio of information. The site hosts technology that enables service providers to communicate with patients. Following the success of the site development, the company requested two engineers from Newfire Global Partners to join their team for a year to provide support services.
Newfire Global Partners was hired by UptimeHealth to revamp a cloud platform that handles medical device equipment statuses. The first task was to stabilize the code, after which they took complete control of the code base. They moved the platform to AWS, separating the corporate website from the product, and created automated builds and continuous integration. The team consisted of four people, including a scrum master/QA analyst, two senior developers, and one junior developer. The project began in July 2018 and is ongoing.
