New Haircut was contracted by a major retailer to run a design thinking and strategy workshop. The goal was to address challenges the retailer was facing in managing internal design sprints. New Haircut facilitated a workshop for twelve employees, including UX designers, user researchers, and project managers. The workshop included exercises to scope out projects in anticipation of design sprints. The retailer was impressed by the leadership of Jay, a partner at New Haircut, and invested between $5,000 and $10,000 in the workshop, which took place in September 2017.

The online wellness platform, Attain.care, hired New Haircut to clarify their product strategy and ensure their business was moving in the right direction. New Haircut centered their work around a week-long design sprint, which involved conducting field research, securing interview participants, and identifying healthcare industry experts. After analyzing the business goals, they created user personas to guide the sprint. The Attain.care team was impressed by New Haircut during a workshop in New York and decided to invest approximately $50,000 in their services. The project began in February 2019 and is ongoing.

A business consultancy firm hired New Haircut to facilitate Design Sprints training sessions. The goal was to introduce more people within the company to this technique and offer clients the opportunity to learn it as well. New Haircut was chosen based on their performance during a public training session attended by members of the consultancy firm. They facilitated a two-day workshop, which involved thorough pre-workshop consultations and planning, as well as post-workshop follow-up. The firm worked with one facilitator from New Haircut for this project.
