Highlights from Recent Projects
Neurons Lab was engaged by SemanticForce, a media intelligence company, to automate aspect-level sentiment analysis due to the challenge of scaling human analysis for large data sets. Neurons Lab developed a machine learning engine using Python and BERT, a deep learning technology from Google. The engine utilized annotated data sets from human analysts to perform automatic large-scale analysis. The solution provided by Neurons Lab was able to label reviews on different aspects and analyze data in several languages. The project began in January 2019 and is ongoing with an investment of over $25,000.
The IT services company, aten tech, hired Neurons Lab for mobile app development and consulting. The project aimed to deliver a mobile app that uses AI and an avatar to simulate users' speech, behavior, and mannerism based on memory extraction for posthumous interaction. The vendor was selected based on a referral from MLDEVS and an engagement of five resources from Neurons Lab.
Neurons Lab was contracted by a healthcare platform to handle UI design. The company's mobile app scans pictures of a user's posture and provides a diagnosis of posture problems and free exercises for correction. Neurons Lab created a web interface for testing the AI, enabling the healthcare platform to view results and correct exercises and diagnoses for machine learning. The project, which started in July 2021 and is still ongoing, involved 10-15 people from Neurons Lab, including developers and data scientists, and an investment of between $150,000 and $200,000.
