Netlabs was hired by Telefónica Móviles del Uruguay to deploy Big Data infrastructure and Hadoop environment, and to develop ETL. The aim was to create a data model with over 100 entities within the Hadoop Ecosystem for multiple purposes. The project required the use of Hive, Pig, Oozie, Spark, and Sqoop for data extraction and transformation.
