Highlights from Recent Projects
Netguru partnered with VisionHealth, a company providing digital therapeutics for patients with chronic respiratory diseases, to augment their app development team. The project involved moving an existing app, built on an old programming language, into a new language that met European regulations regarding data security and cybersecurity. Netguru provided developers who built a completely new mobile app for VisionHealth's AI on React Native. The app helps patients track their symptoms and medical values, reminds them when to take their medication, and provides inhalation training. The partnership lasted from January 2021 to March 2022 and cost around €350,000.
In a project with NeedEnergy, an AI-based startup aiming to provide clean energy access to over 200 million people in sub-Saharan Africa, Netguru helped build a platform for microgrid operators and energy investors. The platform allows users to profile energy needs in Africa and optimize operations for their deployed assets. The project involved two sprints, focusing on infrastructure and backend cloud services, and turning the design into a functional dashboard using Android. The partnership started in November 2021 and the product was deployed in June 2022, costing about $11,000.
Netguru worked with TransACT Communications, an educational technology SaaS solutions provider, to redesign and rebuild their existing product UI/UX. The project involved reimagining the current solution to make it simpler and usable for new and existing users, creating a tool that is accessible and responsive both on the web and mobile web, and mapping detailed features of a product that has been on the market for 20 years. The project was broken down into two major phases: redesigning the Cayen Application Platform and developing the Cayen Rebuild Application. The size of Netguru’s team was over 30 and the communication was mainly through virtual meetings.
