Highlights from Recent Projects
Nao.Design collaborated with SberDevices to launch a hardware product, providing package design, overall branding, and marketing materials. The team quickly delivered an outline of project requirements, determining the best technologies for delivering branding elements. They helped establish an agreement with the package manufacturer, outlined pricing and scheduling, and provided post-production support. They also produced materials needed for product certification in Russia and delivered marketing pieces to help present the product on the market. The collaboration was successful and lasted from September 2019 to January 2020.
In a project with an automated retail startup, nao.Design provided business model consultation and RFP management. They started with the design context and industrial design, considering both software and hardware components. They conducted due diligence of potential vendors in the market that could support the client's business and conducted an RFP to identify the best partners. The client invested $60,000 in the project, which began in May 2018 and concluded in July 2018.
Nao.Design worked with Megafon, the largest mobile carrier in Russia, to develop a full solution for a smart home IoT ecosystem. The project involved software and hardware technologies, including the development of a mobile application, firmware for the hardware solution, and a hub for the smart home kit. They also handled the full product development cycle for 11 types of devices, including a smartwatch with GPS tracking and a video camera. The project, which cost $1.2 million, ran from July 2014 to August 2017.
