Nailbiter Co. was initially engaged by Big Al’s Family Fitness to assist with their direct mail marketing efforts. The company sought to reach a wide demographic, ranging from teenagers to seniors, across its four locations in Long Island. Nailbiter Co.'s role soon expanded to encompass a variety of traditional and digital marketing services. On the traditional front, they designed graphics, banners, and signage. Digitally, they revamped Big Al’s website, creating it on a custom WordPress platform, developed landing pages, implemented email marketing strategies, and performed some SEO work. They also helped refine the gym's branding to ensure it stood out in the market whilst adhering to a set of guidelines that were implemented across all marketing channels. Big Al's has retained Nailbiter Co. for some services and pays separately for others, with a typical annual investment ranging between $50,000–$100,000. The partnership, which began in late 2014, is ongoing, with a rigorous approval process ensuring that work is not released until both parties are satisfied.
