Mutually Human worked with Become Unmistakable, a software and training firm, to create a custom software application aimed at helping organizations connect with their employees on a deeper level. The project began with a discovery workshop to understand the features that needed to be developed. The scope of the project was provided with weekly feature releases scheduled, allowing for testing before the entire application launched. The team from Become Unmistakable worked closely with Mark, the president and founder of Mutually Human, and Lori, a software designer, on design and functionality. Later in the development process, two additional software engineers from Mutually Human joined the project.

Mutually Human was hired by a company to work on security and stabilization updates following an external review with a security consulting firm. The review had highlighted several high-priority updates designed to increase the security and stability of the company's system. The Mutually Human team analyzed six items from the security report and proposed solutions for each area, which required large-scale fixes. Over the course of six weeks, a two-person team from Mutually Human, along with the company's own developer, tackled each of the high-priority items. The team checked in regularly using an agile-like work routine.

The American Red Cross in West Michigan hired Mutually Human to develop a media hit tracker. The goal was to create a tool for organizing, tracking, and storing data about media coverage, accessible from anywhere and with quick data input and review capabilities. Mutually Human designed and deployed a Ruby on Rails website with a PostGreSQL database. The project began with several discovery meetings to scope out the needs and set priorities for functionality. A three-day intensive sprint led to a functional, branded site with all the basic features needed. Mutually Human continued to work with the American Red Cross after the event to implement additional functionality and hosted a wrap-up meeting to review the project.
