Highlights from Recent Projects
MS StoryWorks was hired by an old time soda fountain and lunch counter to produce a video to raise awareness about the opening of the restaurant. The project was handled by Mike, who had previously worked as a newscaster, and was completed in a single day of production with numerous shots taken with employees and customers. The client was impressed with Mike's effective communication skills throughout the whole process.
MS StoryWorks was chosen by a Commercial Real Estate Development Firm to produce a video that would encapsulate the story of their complex, multi-phased urban project. Mike, previously known as a reporter in the client's city, collaborated with the client on a daily basis to create a script, travel to the project site, and capture extensive footage both onsite and in their offices. The client appreciated Mike's deep understanding of the project and his dedication to telling the best story possible for a wide range of audiences.
The Memorial Episcopal Church in Baltimore worked with MS StoryWorks from March 2020 to March 2022 to create a video that would depict the church's six-year journey in the racial reconciliation process. The scope of MS StoryWorks' involvement included mapping out the project, shooting numerous videos and interviews at the church and other significant locations, and presenting the created content to the client. The majority of the work was done pro bono, with a small fee of $2,000. The client found MS StoryWorks through Twitter and primarily worked with the owner, Mike.
