Mpowerr was hired by COORD, a company that creates a virtual wardrobe app, to develop a 2D to 3D generator engine. The goal was to create a prototype engine that could take a 2D image and render it fully into 3D, particularly for clothing. Mpowerr was also tasked with building a garment identifying and extractor that could analyze an image and extract the item of clothing. The project, which ran from November 2024 to September 2025, involved significant research and development. The team successfully built the 2D to 3D garment generator engine to a minimum viable product (MVP) level and developed the image extractor workflow. The MVP included the backend engine and a prototype hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), accessible through APIs. While it was not a mobile app version ready for scale, the project was a success and achieved the goals set by COORD. The decision to work with Mpowerr was based on their competitive pricing, perceived value for cost, and a positive referral.
