Highlights from Recent Projects
MotionMobs was hired by a pediatric not-for-profit hospital to develop a resourceful mobile app for iOS and Android, focusing on poison control information. This was after their previous vendor went out of business, leaving the hospital without support for their web app. The project, which cost the hospital around $30,000, began in September 2019 and was successfully completed by January 2020. The hospital worked with three members from the MotionMobs team, who were praised for their technical skills and support throughout the development process.
In another project, MotionMobs collaborated with the founder of JHO App, Inc. to create a bipartisan mobile app that allows users to write physical letters to their congressmen using their phones. The app, which was built for both iOS and Android, also includes the mailing addresses of all participating representatives. The project, which cost about $140,000, ran from August 2019 to December 2020. MotionMobs also helped enhance the app's UI/UX designs and supported the client with marketing efforts.
MotionMobs also partnered with GirlSpring, a nonprofit organization aiming to empower girls aged 9-18. The project involved developing a mobile app for iOS and Android based on a design provided by a teenage member of the organization. The app serves as a platform for peer-created content, promoting empowerment among girls. MotionMobs conducted extensive research on competitors and similar platforms, ensuring the app would effectively serve its target audience. The project, which cost around $50,000, started in May 2019 and was completed in November 2020.
