MOK2 | Brand Intelligence & Design was hired by Streamline Properties for a brand refresh, which included designing a new logo and creating new collateral. The project involved a series of revisions to the logo based on feedback from the client, eventually leading to a final design that was chosen to represent the company. MOK2 also redesigned all of Streamline Properties' collateral materials such as stationery, email templates, business cards, advertising templates, notecards, and front window design. The project, which ran from February to October 2004, was led by Mauricio, the President of MOK2, and Kevin, the Co-Founder. The client invested approximately $15,000 in the project.
For over two decades, MOK2 has been managing the brand identity of a vertically integrated real estate development company. They have kept the brand current and relevant, even as the client's company evolved. They helped the client maintain their brand equity by keeping their well-known name, but modernized it by making it lowercase and giving it a green feel to reflect the earth and buildings. Most recently, MOK2 undertook a major project to redesign the client's website. Over the years, they have managed the brand, brand identity, and repositioning of the company through its growth and evolution. The client usually works with one of the partners and one of their associates.
MOK2 was chosen by Babalu, a consumer retail company based in Miami Beach, to develop their brand recognition. The aim was to create an enduring brand image that resonated with the diverse cultures passing through Miami, while also maintaining an authentically local identity. MOK2 was selected because of their portfolio and their ability to understand the needs and goals of their clients. They kept the demands from Babalu to a minimum, allowing the client to focus on their strengths. The client worked closely with the principals of MOK2, who provided client servicing above-and-beyond expectations.
