Mofables, an experienced game development company, was contracted by Acotel Interactive, a digital entertainment firm, to develop a suite of cross-platform educational and entertainment apps for children. The project, which ran from November 2015 to April 2016, involved the creation of three apps using Unity, C#, and JavaScript, alongside native iOS and Android programming languages. The apps included an English language learning tool for children aged 3-6, a video-on-demand service with licensed content, and a drawing app. The project was successful and the Acotel Interactive team found Mofables easy to work with and attractively priced.
In a separate project, Mofables worked with a board game company to integrate artificial reality (AR) into a traditional board game. The project, which ran from January to December 2015, involved the creation of an app for mobile devices that connected the physical board game with AR. The Mofables team was responsible for the majority of the development work, with the client providing minor suggestions on gameplay factors and graphic design. The client was impressed with the result, praising Mofables for their innovative idea and the promising prototype they presented.
