Modelate was hired by a healthcare consulting firm to design an app that showcases the value of preventing pressure injuries. The project was the second engagement between the two parties. Modelate was tasked with understanding the problem, carrying out graphic design, and structuring the model to optimize usability and user interest. The app was built for Windows 10 tablets and was based on the reference information and calculations provided by the client. The project manager from Modelate interfaced directly with the client. The app was launched in September 2017 after a development period from July to September 2017.
Uber Amsterdam engaged Modelate to create an internal tool that would automate work and increase efficiency for marketing managers and designers unfamiliar with HTML5 technology. The tool was designed to allow stakeholders to build banners based on templates and preapproved copy. It was capable of pulling in copy, headlines, colors, graphics, and photography. The client communicated directly with the technical and creative co-founders of Modelate. The basic tool was delivered in August 2017, with several features added later on. The overall project took about three months, starting from June or July 2017.
