Mobile App Hero partnered with New Georgia Project, a nonpartisan nonprofit civic engagement organization, to develop a mobile voting app. The aim was to increase voter participation by providing quality information about each candidate. The app is a centralized platform where users can view report cards on each candidate and familiarize themselves with the voting process through a sample ballot. It features a GPS-based reporting feed that logs issues encountered by voters in real time. Mobile App Hero's work spanned from July to December 2018 and cost around $50,000.
In another project, GoBlu Technology engaged Mobile App Hero to develop an IoT app for their built-in mobile device charging system. The customer-facing app would allow users to identify businesses using their tile, access the charging service, and foster a community around the product. Mobile App Hero led the development process, coordinated with a third-party team of engineers for software and hardware integration, and provided valuable insights on back-office messaging systems. The collaboration lasted from January 2017 to August 2018 and any delays were due to hardware development, not Mobile App Hero's performance.
