Mobile App Hero

Mobile App Hero was hired by New Georgia Project, a nonpartisan nonprofit civic engagement organization, to develop a mobile voting app. The organization had registered about 300,000 Georgians, but only 40% actually voted. This was mainly due to people lacking quality information on each candidate. Mobile App Hero developed the app by integrating the organization's internal database with an existing API. The app became a centralized platform for users to see report cards on each candidate, including their stance on key topics. Users could see a sample ballot to familiarize themselves with the voting process. One of the core features was a GPS-based reporting feed that logs voter issues in real time. The project lasted from July to December 2018 and cost about $50,000.

GoBlu Technology, a company providing businesses with an IoT tile for built-in mobile device charging, engaged Mobile App Hero to build a customer-facing app. The goal was to allow users to see which businesses use their tile, access the charging service, and create a community around the product. Mobile App Hero led the app development from start to finish, coordinated with a third-party team of engineers to integrate the software and hardware components, and provided insights about the viability of certain features and the differences between iOS and Android programs. The project spanned from January 2017 to August 2018. Any delays were due to the hardware development, not from Mobile App Hero.
