Mixtape Marketing was hired by Silicon Labs, a silicon company based in Austin, to assist in various brand awareness projects. The goal was to establish Silicon Labs not only as a thought-leader in internet-of-things (IoT) development, but also as a desirable place to work and a responsible corporate citizen. One of the key projects involved was a local community event, a pinewood derby named "Days of Thunderboard". The event aimed to promote one of Silicon Labs' IoT development boards. Mixtape Marketing, led by its co-founder and a team of seasoned designers and art directors, designed and developed the visual elements, online presence, and giveaways for the event, giving it a distinctive, must-attend quality.
