Ministry of Product

Ministry of Product, also known as PugetWorks, was contracted by Rover, a dog boarding marketplace, to take over their iOS development. The initial application was outsourced and resulted in a product that was subpar and riddled with bugs. Ministry of Product came on board to rectify this and took ownership of the entire iOS development process. They essentially rewrote the app, focusing on improving the messaging functionality between dog sitters and owners and enhancing the search capabilities. The project, which involved two to three full-time personnel, spanned about nine months. The Rover team was pleased with the outcome, noting a significant improvement in the app's functionality.

In another project, Ministry of Product worked with ActiveBuilding, an apartment management software company. The company, a startup at the time, needed help developing non-core aspects of their business solution due to limited resources. Ministry of Product was tasked with creating a portal for local businesses to offer special promotions to residents living in nearby buildings. The project involved developing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting the portal, which was built from the ground up. The team used PHP Zend for the website's framework and content management system. The project, which cost in the low thousands per month, has been ongoing for approximately a year and a half to two years. The ActiveBuilding team was satisfied with Ministry of Product's work, praising their quality control and ability to deliver on expectations.
