Ministry of Product was approached by Rover, a dog boarding marketplace, to handle their iOS development. Prior to this, Rover had outsourced their development to Ukraine, but was dissatisfied with the results. Ministry of Product was recommended by a Rover employee and won the project. They focused on the app’s messaging functionality and search capabilities, and ended up rewriting much of the existing app due to issues with the original code. The project took around nine months with two to three full-time personnel. The results were well-received and the partnership is ongoing.

For ActiveBuilding, an apartment management software company, Ministry of Product was entrusted with the development of non-core parts of their business solution. The main goal was to enable residents to engage with local businesses, thus a portal was built where businesses could register and offer special promotions. The entire project was handed over to Ministry of Product, including development, deployment, maintenance and support. The website was built using PHP Zend and the project took between a year and a half to two years. Despite being a small project, it was handled efficiently and the client was satisfied with the results.
