Highlights from Recent Projects
MindSea collaborated with the University of Toronto's Department of Computer Science to design and develop a clinician-facing dashboard and a patient app. The project aimed to allow patients to input their symptoms and measurements from home medical devices, which would then be streamed to a dashboard for clinicians to review. MindSea guided the University team through the process, from defining the design requirements to building prototypes using Figma. The app is currently undergoing internal testing and is expected to be completed in the next few months. The University of Toronto has invested $310,000 CAD in this ongoing partnership, which commenced in March 2023.
The Skogen Company, a modern wellness firm, hired MindSea for the development of a mobile and web application. MindSea was chosen based on their high ratings, cultural fit, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with company values. The project involved defining the app's purpose, goals, and target audience, creating a product roadmap and timeline, developing user flows and wireframes, and implementing core features. The team from MindSea also conducted relevant testing and compatibility checks, addressed bugs and performance issues, and prepared the app for App Store and Play Store guidelines.
Yahoo! engaged MindSea for the creation of a new React Native app for Yahoo Search and the integration of a new Gen AI Chat into the mobile experience. MindSea was selected based on their high ratings, affordable pricing, and cultural fit. The project aimed to propel Yahoo Search into the future with a mobile-centric, design-led approach. The deliverables included front-end development using React Native integrated with Yahoo Search's existing backend architecture, responsive layouts, and accessibility requirements integrated into design guidelines. The app was designed for iOS 16+ and Android 14+ platforms and targeted primarily at the US and secondary English-language markets.
