MindCraft.ai was hired by a software company for solar panel installers to conduct R&D data science projects. The initial project involved the development of an automatic calculation of roof inclination based on lidar data. The project was successful and well-received by the clients. Following this, MindCraft.ai worked on developing a calculation of shadow impact on solar panels and is currently engaged in building 3D models with the goal of automatic solar panel placement. The team of five, including a project manager and data scientists, has previously worked with the client, which influenced their decision to hire MindCraft.ai.

In a project for a software solutions agency, MindCraft.ai was tasked with extracting and segmenting text from PDF documents by articles, identifying titles, subtitles, and authors, detecting the main article image, and handling adjacent page articles. The text extraction and segmentation were successful, as was the identification of titles. However, the extraction of subtitles and author names, as well as the detection of the main article image, were not completed due to current limitations in rendering algorithms. The handling of adjacent page articles also requires improvement. The team of 2-5 employees was selected for their company culture fit and aligned values.

MindCraft.ai collaborated with CodeGeeks Solutions, a software company, to develop an AI product for a client. They developed a proof of concept (POC) for the client's business idea using a small amount of input data. The client was satisfied with the POC, leading to the creation of an MVP and the final product version using the Meta Llama 2 module. MindCraft.ai also provided AI consulting support for the project. The team, composed of an ML/AI engineer and a PM tech lead who is also a data scientist, was recommended to CodeGeeks Solutions by a friend. The collaboration lasted from June to December 2023, with an investment of approximately $20,000.
