Mindbox

Mindbox was hired by Applica, an AI-based Intelligent Document Understanding platform, for cloud consulting services. The project involved porting Applica across multiple cloud providers. The decision to select Mindbox was made after shortlisting three vendors and executing an RFQ. A team of two cloud consultants supported by a cloud architect from Mindbox worked on this project. The details of the project remain confidential.

In another project, Mindbox was engaged by a manufacturer of automotive exhaust components for an ERP implementation. The company was expanding operations from North America into the European market, specifically Poland. Mindbox was recommended by the company's ERP vendor to implement the US Epicor system and adapt it to meet Polish and European regulation requirements. The project involved multiple stages including construction of the building and technical infrastructure, building the Polish management team, documenting US processes, developing training material, training of the processes and ERP system, and finally starting production and shipping to customers. The Mindbox team comprised of a VP of ERP, a project manager, and financial and production consultants.

SCANIA Poland, part of a global organization selling trucks and buses, hired Mindbox for custom software development. The goal was to optimize processes and increase productivity while reducing environmental impact through Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Mindbox was selected based on their previous successful cooperation with SCANIA on the operation of the Epicor ERP system. The project involved running an RPA pilot project using a demonstration license offered by UiPath. The successful pilot led to the robotization of processes at SCANIA, starting with the accounting department, then the sales and logistics departments, and finally the HR and IT departments. The implementation of RPA in SCANIA began with the accounting department, where there were the most processes susceptible to automation. The project was handled by 2-3 experts from Mindbox.
