Highlights from Recent Projects
Mindbowser Global developed a mobile application for TotTech, a child safety products company. The app was designed to interface with TotTech's smart car seat insert, providing alerts to prevent a parent from forgetting their child in the car. The app connects to the smart car seat insert via Bluetooth when it senses a child is present and sends an alert if the phone moves too far from the child. The project was completed swiftly and exceeded the client's expectations, leading to plans for future collaborations.
At ProofPilot, a company creating infrastructure for remote clinical trials, Mindbowser Global was hired for staff augmentation. The company needed additional staff that could take on leadership roles, conceive new approaches, and guide the implementation of key functionality. After a three-month selection process involving multiple rounds of interviews and a proposal process, Mindbowser was chosen for a three-month trial. The team at Mindbowser consisted of four individuals: two back-end developers, one front-end/mobile developer, and one data manager.
For a company using image recognition to locate sneakers for sale in real-world settings, Mindbowser Global created a clickable prototype and wireframes. These were used to give potential investors, incubators, and other sources of early-stage funding a visual representation of the proposed smartphone application. The client provided most of the sketches and concepts, and Mindbowser brought these ideas to life with enhanced UX and visuals. The project began in spring 2017, was paused, and then resumed in 2020, with work ongoing.
