Minami

Minami was engaged by a product management lead to redesign a UX platform as part of product diversification. The goals were to simplify and modernize the design, build a new framework for task-based design approach and improve the UX experience. Minami was selected based on their successful delivery of UX designs for a prototype application. The project involved style guide, information and interaction design flow, detailed screen designs, review with engineers, design QA and user experience testing. The team was made up of a UX lead and designers who closely collaborated with product management.

An executive at Vellum Insurance hired Minami to develop a clickable prototype for their first product and establish a design language for their full product suite. Vellum Insurance is a data and analytics software platform for the insurance and reinsurance industry. Minami was found through a referral and selected for their good cost-value, alignment with company values, and positive referrals. The project involved 2-5 Minami employees and the key deliverables included an 8-10 screen clickable prototype developed in Figma and a defined design library for future product development.

Minami was hired by an executive of a financial services company to create an extensible design language and designs for the MVP of their product. The company helps small business owners take control over their financial information. Minami was selected due to their competitive pricing and good cost-value.
