Highlights from Recent Projects
Milo Creative collaborated with Maths Whizz, an education company, to revamp their web-based learning app's student experience. The project was centered on creating an engaging experience for the students by constantly consulting with them and adapting each iteration based on their feedback. Milo Creative's team worked closely with the Maths Whizz tech team to transition from a Flash-based program to HTML5, developed a new API, and coded its behavior. The new program now challenges students and helps them build their confidence in math. The project lasted from April 2018–January 2019.
Milo Creative worked with London’s Air Ambulance Charity to create an educational app aimed at engaging the local community and raising awareness about the charity's work. The app, designed for use primarily in schools, offers activities related to both the charity's medical missions and school subjects. Milo Creative was in charge of the design and development of the app, which was built on a Unity platform for Android and iOS, as well as a web version for school computers. The partnership lasted from September 2015 to June 2016.
In collaboration with Chime Group (Harvard), a technical communications agency based in London, Milo Creative developed a cow connector app, a cross-platform solution for iOS and Android. Using 5G technology, users could connect with their own individual cow and track its movements online. Milo Creative guided the project through UX/UI design and implementation. When a challenge arose regarding data importation, the team created an algorithm, gathered the necessary data from the partners, and synthesized it to be functional with the app. The project lasted from November 2018–March 2019.
