Miles IT successfully completed a RESTful API development project for a financial services company, NCS. The goal was to modernize all existing product APIs to be RESTful and support JSON. Miles IT provided custom software development, systems support, IT support, and marketing support. Their team interviewed all stakeholders to ensure they understood the business and technology goals, quickly delivered a project plan, and demonstration apps for feedback. The team comprised of a senior project manager, senior developer, and software support. NCS appreciated Miles IT's dedication to total support and their understanding of their business and technology goals.

For a healthcare financial company, Miles IT developed a web-based software to help staff organize their tasks. The software was password protected and encrypted, ensuring all documentation and information is secure. The software was also accessible from the corporate website. The team at Miles IT provided input into what would work and how the architecture should be. The project was initiated by the company's owner who found Miles IT after researching different software options. The project was completed in August of the following year.

Miles IT developed a portal for BRS, a consulting firm, to manage the intake review and grant applications processing. The portal allowed BRS and outside consultants to communicate back and forth per application while logging and tracking all email and phone correspondence. The portal also enabled the storing and associating of a tremendous amount of grant-related documents within the system. The project began in April 2010 and was completed in April 2011. The original construction of the portal cost about $200,000. BRS appreciated Miles IT's input on what was feasible and their ability to design a system with future flexibility in mind.
