Highlights from Recent Projects
Michigan Software Labs worked with Ambs Call Center to develop a more robust reporting solution for their clients. The team built a web portal from scratch using Bootstrap, ensuring compatibility with various browsers and mobile devices. The project, which began in April 2021, is ongoing with plans to gather client feedback and add more features. The team primarily interacted with project managers and UI/UX designers. The project has cost around $100,000 so far.
In another project, Michigan Software Labs was hired by a recycling company to develop a mobile app. The app was designed to enable material inspectors to efficiently process hundreds of high-quality inspections per day even in low connectivity scenarios. The project involved multiple onsite journey/process maps, wireframe iterations, development, weekly reviews, testing and deployment. The project went smoothly with very few bugs to flush out.
Michigan Software Labs also partnered with a university research department to build a mobile app for behavioral health intervention. The team developed an iOS version of the application, using a digital board to map procedures and creating detailed video demonstrations and mock-ups. The app will be piloted to identify any faulty features and ensure users see the anticipated benefits. In 2023, the team will work on addressing any issues and creating an Android version of the app. This ongoing project began in November 2021 and involves a team of programmers, designers, and interns.
