Michigan Software Labs was hired by Ambs Call Center to develop a new reports portal to provide more robust reporting solutions for their clients. The team built a web portal from scratch using Bootstrap, deciding on the platform, browser compatibility, and mobile device appearance. The project, which started in April 2021 and is still ongoing, involved a team of over ten members, with four to five people primarily interacting with the client. The project cost around $100,000, and the client plans to gather feedback to add more features to the portal.
The company worked with a leading full-service recycling company to develop a mobile app that allowed their material inspectors to be highly mobile in low connectivity scenarios. The app was designed to process hundreds of high-quality inspections per day efficiently. Michigan Software Labs was chosen after interviewing several vendors due to their understanding of the business needs and high level of mobile app development talent. The project involved multiple onsite journey/process maps, several wireframe iterations, and ended with quick testing and deployment with minimal bugs.
Michigan Software Labs partnered with a university research department to create a mobile app for behavioral health intervention. The app aimed to help patients improve their emotional and behavioral health. The team developed the iOS version of the application, creating detailed video demonstrations and mock-ups to show how features would function. The app will be piloted to identify any faulty features and ensure anticipated benefits. In 2023, they plan to address any issues and create the Android version of the app. The team composed of a delivery lead, co-founder, programmers, designers, and interns.
