Highlights from Recent Projects
Methodia worked with Overgas, a natural gas distributor, to develop a comprehensive corporate information system. The project included the implementation of a utility system that encompasses CRM, billing, asset management, maintenance, and workflow tools. A significant aspect of this project was the Asset and Maintenance Management system (AMM), which manages the gas network and all related facilities. Methodia also developed a mobile application integrated with the utility system. The project started in May 2013 and is ongoing, with Overgas investing about $1.7 million so far.
For Dyce Energy, a UK energy supplier, Methodia developed a billing system that converts energy meter units into kilowatt-hours for customer billing. The cloud-based platform houses all customer data, allowing customers to create accounts, view bills and usage, submit meter readings, and manage their energy costs online. Methodia also created a back-office interface for Dyce to control customer data. In addition, they developed a customer app for iOS and Android, industry data ports, and a simplified customer service tool. They are also working on a partner portal that will allow Dyce's biggest clients to create reports and submit contracts.
Methodia developed a customer web portal for a gas and power company. The portal offers self-service functionality to energy consumers, allowing them to view bills, check their account status, and raise queries. The project, which ran from October 2019 to August 2020, involved a team of 5-6 people from Methodia. The portal was an off-the-shelf solution tailored to the needs of the client.
