Method 21

Method 21 was contracted by an energy utility company to help apply human-centered design principles to their enterprise software development and procurement process. The project involved building a business case to decide whether to build or buy enterprise software, and Method 21's role was to ensure that the end-customer's needs were considered in this decision. The primary deliverable was the enterprise software, but additional deliverables related to the human-centered design were also produced. The company worked primarily with one individual and one or two consultants from Method 21. The engagement began in January 2022 and is ongoing, with no plans to end the relationship in the near future. The client had previously worked with Method 21 when they were operating under a different name.
