Highlights from Recent Projects
Mercury Development was hired by a managed dental care organization to develop an iOS mobile app. The app, which was created from scratch, was designed to be used for dental facility audits. It included a custom survey module, picture scanning, appointment scheduling, document signing, cost reporting, and location tracking functionalities. Mercury also assisted with the company's legacy application used for managing dental claims, providers, and members. Furthermore, they helped conduct a business analysis and define an acquisition plan for a company the client was acquiring. The partnership, which began in the summer of 2018, is still ongoing and has so far cost over $5 million.
A fitness technology startup engaged Mercury Development for staff augmentation services. The goal was to lower costs and support 24/7 development. Mercury provided engineers who developed in Android, Flutter, Python, Golang, AWS, and QA, contributing across the technology stack. They were part of the development team, working in two-week sprints, developing clean code, and testing the entire stack to support weekly releases. The team grew from an initial 3-4 people to 50+ members due to Mercury's ability to find great talent to support the client's growing needs.
Mercury Development was brought on by a retail company to develop a new auction platform. This included an iOS/Android mobile application and a desktop admin page for managing inventory and sales. The platform was integrated with existing systems, including proprietary software and a Warehouse Management System (WMS), to ensure seamless operation of bidding, inventory tracking, and sales management. The main goals were to enable customers to participate in live auction bidding through a user-friendly mobile application, allow admin users to manage inventory, sales, and auctions effectively, ensure real-time synchronization of data, and provide an intuitive experience for both bidders and administrators.
