Mediacurrent undertook a project for Freeborn & Peters, a Chicago-based law firm, to revamp their outdated website. The firm was seeking a new, more flexible system that would be easier to maintain and allow for a broader range of media types. Mediacurrent implemented a Drupal-based website, chosen for its open-source nature and extensive support. The project, costing approximately $100,000, involved significant data preparation and information architecture. The new website, launched in March 2013, was well-received, and Mediacurrent continues to provide ongoing support.

The company also worked with a pet insurance and InsurTech company to enhance their website's scalability, SEO, and site administration. Mediacurrent developed customized components for the company's Drupal site, creating Flex pages that restored admin control to a CMS. They also collaborated with an SEO vendor to ensure that development complemented keyword optimization efforts. The partnership, which began in November 2016, has cost between $50,000 to $200,000 and is ongoing.

Mediacurrent was hired by an online resource for high-school students to find colleges and scholarships to move part of their website to a Drupal CMS and rebuild the platform. The company rebuilt the entire frontend from scratch, transitioning it from a custom-built Java application to a Drupal CMS. The project, which cost around $500,000, began in February 2018 and is ongoing. The team from Mediacurrent, consisting of around 10 people, continues to provide support and maintain a strong relationship with the client.
