Masterpoint

Masterpoint was hired by a management consulting firm to augment their team in building a high-availability cross-platform web and mobile platform for an automotive client. The project required designing, implementing, and managing a highly-available cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. The Masterpoint team was responsible for every aspect of the infrastructure, including technical analysis, infrastructure design, documentation, security, maintenance and patching, training, and ongoing monitoring. Three senior cloud consultants from Masterpoint were engaged throughout the project, each responsible for a different part of the infrastructure architecture and development.

A digital marketing agency, We The Collective, hired Masterpoint for the migration of a web application to AWS. The project required a redesign of large parts of the application and a migration to an infrastructure-as-code paradigm. The project took place in four general stages: discovery, design, implementation, and rollout. Matt from Masterpoint was highly involved in the project, researching the existing application in great detail, putting together recommendations for updates, designing the system, providing fully documented code and processes, and ensuring a smooth rollout.

People Behind the Pixels, a web development and startup company, hired Masterpoint for the development and maintenance of a custom website. The project involved the initial design and implementation of a custom back-end server and front-end web user experience, followed by long-term on-demand maintenance and updates. The selection of Masterpoint was based on a personal connection, culture fit, good value for cost, and aligned company values. Between two to five Masterpoint employees were assigned to this project.
