Mappitall

Mappitall was hired by a San Francisco-based think tank to develop a GIS solution for the city's municipality. The main goal was to improve asset management and gain deeper insights from geographical data. The primary deliverable was a parking web app that allows users to find and book parking lots, and track their parking time. Mappitall also developed an interactive map to plan and monitor street cleaning routes and schedules, replacing the previous paper-based system. The client expressed satisfaction with Mappitall's understanding of their problem and the solutions they provided, and they continue to outsource work to one of the data engineers from the team.

In another project, Mappitall was hired by Climate X, a climate risk data company, for IT staff augmentation and support in troubleshooting geospatial challenges. Mappitall's tasks included DB development, rasterising climate intelligence, improving the speed and reliability of the solution, and address matching. The client selected Mappitall after an interview and test run from a shortlist of firms via Upwork. They expressed satisfaction with Mappitall's performance and the team continues to be part of Climate X's ongoing engagement.
