Many Hats

Many Hats was hired by a startup in the golf industry to tackle complex computer vision and algorithm-based challenges. The project required extensive R&D iteration and the ability to make swift adjustments based on the success of the project. The company chose Many Hats due to their ability to handle unique and challenging projects. The company followed an agile scrum-based approach to work through their R&D, with sprints including hardware prototyping, software testing, validation, and field work. Deliverables included custom-built software that was validated in live demos. The owner and CEO of Many Hats were directly involved in the project on a weekly basis.

In another project, Many Hats worked with Pinnguaq Association, a nonprofit organization, to develop a game called Nanili, aimed at introducing players to the art of coding. The goal of the project was to deploy a game that users had tested and played throughout its development. The project involved an end-to-end development from ideation and storyboarding, to design and UI, graphics and animation, content, development, QA, user testing, and improvements. Many Hats was involved in every step of the way, leading all aspects. The team comprised of a technical director, project manager, two senior software developers, one intermediate software developer, and one UI/UX designer.

Many Hats was also hired by Tailgater Social Inc, a social networking company, to develop a mobile app that connects sports fans to venues for watching and enjoying sporting events. The company selected Many Hats due to their experience in other projects, their team's breadth of knowledge and skills, and their passion for the project. The project entailed a couple of discovery meetings, front-end user interface development, the creation of an interactive admin portal, beta testing, and implementation of edits and additions before the application for app store review. The company worked with a Director of Business Development, a Director of Software Development, and a Software Engineer from Many Hats.
