Mandelbrot was hired by an independent communications group to develop a portfolio app for iOS and Android. The app was designed internally and Mandelbrot was responsible for its development. The app, which showcases the group's portfolio and has several other features, was finalized after a nine-month process of refinements. Mandelbrot also worked on two other projects for the group: an internal project management tool and an interface for a communication tool similar to WhatsApp. The group has commended Mandelbrot for their willingness to adapt and the quality of their work. The group has spent around $20,000 on their services since the commencement of the partnership in December 2017, which remains ongoing.
