Made in Tandem

Tandem worked with a software-defined radio company that needed assistance in developing a software controller application. The company was developing a solution to detect wireless intrusions for high-security customers. Tandem developed the client-end server and provided several iterations of the design for testing. The feedback received from customers was passed back to Tandem for further development. The team used Java among other programs and the project was expected to be completed by the end of April 2020. The company invested about $450,000 in this project.

Tandem collaborated with Tollos, a medical devices company, to develop a platform for offering modular extensions to their customers. Tandem used an assessment methodology which involved understanding the marketplace and interviewing a large number of customers. They then started the development process, creating wireframes and setting up a sample of the demo product in their office for testing. The project, which began in spring 2018, is ongoing and is expected to be a multi-million-dollar project by the time it's finished.

Tandem partnered with a large telecom company to build supplementary apps to meet specific technology requirements and fill gaps in solutions. They used Agile methodology and discovery phases before starting a minimum viable product. The collaboration focused on building customer-based solutions but also emphasized return on investment. Tandem is also optimizing the company's core business and management tools, and building new automation processes for their delivery teams. The project, which started in February 2017, is ongoing.
