The objective was to maintain the pace for their release by adding 1-2 extra developers to implement enhancements and maintain functionality. The Mad Devs team worked on covering the code base with unit and integration tests, fixing bugs, writing and maintaining system documentation, and implementing automation and CI elements. They also assisted with protocol architecture improvements and deployment to testnet and mainnet. The project was primarily written in Solidity with a portion of Node.js code for supporting services and scripts. The team from Mad Devs consisted of three Solidity developers who worked full-time and part-time to accomplish the tasks.
A Self Custody Mobile Wallet company hired Mad Devs to augment their engineering team for the development of their app. The goal was to fast track the development of the next version of the app. The main tasks were integrating with Balancer protocol and enabling NFT usage on the platform for referrals. The Mad Devs team used the Python language (Fast API framework) to accomplish these tasks. They also supported the client with tests and improved error visibility enabling alerts through Sentry. The team consisted of two backend developers and a project manager who helped with general processes, planning, and documentation.
Propellerheads.xyz, a company that designs markets, builds infrastructure, and publishes open source to keep defi simple and decentralised, hired Mad Devs to refactor their CI/CD Pipeline and AWS Account IAC. The project involved infrastructure modernization and migration, provision and maintenance of a modern autoscaling Kubernetes cluster, setting up Postgres RDS instances, hosting static frontends via a CDN, and configuring AWS API Gateway for high traffic. The team also set up a build server for GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines and implemented a robust solution for alerting, logging, and monitoring.
