Machinery partnered with a media startup, Huxly News, to develop an interactive app and website that allows users to compare their opinions on trending news. After the startup's previous development attempts failed, Machinery was brought in to salvage the project. They developed an iOS app and website using Ruby on Rails, integrating the startup's design with their own. The platforms feature an interactive map where users can share opinions and vote on different takes of each news story. The partnership, which began in November 2017, continues with Machinery making ongoing changes to the app. The startup has so far invested about $110,000 in the project.

In a project for a global healthcare company, Machinery developed a custom software and app for Android and iOS platforms. The product enables frontline workers to report inventory changes to the back office, reducing paperwork and streamlining operations. The app uses scanning applications to determine inventory status and optical recognition to upload product prescriptions directly from the camera, significantly reducing processing time. The project, which ran from November to December 2020, cost the healthcare company approximately $86,000. Machinery's team of a designer and 11 other employees were recommended by a member of the healthcare company's design team.

Machinery was hired by Remote Bob, a company that connects tech startup founders with virtual assistants, to simplify and automate their business process. The project involved researching the best solutions, creating a user-friendly interface, and designing a mobile-first app. Machinery conducted detailed research with current users and existing market solutions, proposed user journeys for business process automation, and designed a visually appealing app. The project team consisted of a project manager, two developers, and a designer, all of whom attended weekly meetings and stand-ups.
