Macadamian

Macadamian was hired by Worksoft, a computer software company, to improve the user experience and interface of their new product. Worksoft's VP of Engineering acknowledged that their previous software was functional but lacked elegance and intuitive navigation. Macadamian was engaged to redesign the user experience and layout of the new product, as well as some existing products. The collaboration, which cost between $50,000 and $200,000, was initiated through an email exchange between the CTO of Worksoft and the CEO of Macadamian. The VP of Engineering praised Macadamian's project methodology and customer engagement.

NantHealth, a healthcare company, partnered with Macadamian to advance their mobile application for patient engagement and care provision. Macadamian was brought on to augment the engineering staff and develop the mobile app to improve healthcare information access for both patients and care providers. The app was developed for iOS and Android platforms. Macadamian was chosen due to their preexisting knowledge in healthcare domain solutions and technology platforms. The project, which cost over $200,000, has been ongoing for three to four years.

A healthcare IT company hired Macadamian to design and create an initial prototype for a patient portal to go on top of their practice management system. The project, which cost around $100,000, involved design work, site visits, hands-on design sessions with actual patients, and architectural design sessions. The initial working prototype, along with the design, style guide, code, and all individual assets, were handed over to the healthcare IT company after three to four months. Macadamian was chosen after a request for proposal process involving three different organizations.
