Lux Insights Inc. was contracted by a mid-sized non-profit space and science centre to conduct consumer research and data collection as part of their ongoing strategy. The company selected Lux based on recommendations and the content of their proposal. The research aimed to understand the consumer market, their preferences, and their perceptions of the organization and its competitors. The Lux team, consisting of a project manager and three to four other members, worked closely with the client to execute the project.

The Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife hired Lux Insights Inc. in collaboration with Washington Sea Grant to gain insights into the concerns and information needs of local seafood consumers. Lux was selected for their professionalism and experience. The team conducted in-person influencer interviews and a consumer survey in Washington, Oregon, and California. The findings were compiled into a report with key recommendations for addressing issues like limited product visibility and the demand for local, fresh, and sustainable seafood. The Lux team, led by Jessye, Nune, and Kari, worked with five core members from WDFW and WSG to deliver the project on time.

A member-funded society hired Lux Insights Inc. to conduct membership surveys for their 3,000+ members. The vendor was chosen based on positive reviews from industry peers. The project aimed to understand member satisfaction with the society overall, as well as specific facilities, programs, and services. The insights gathered also provided information on motivators, barriers to using the facilities, programs and services, and insight into capital expenditures and other initiatives. The client worked closely with the senior executive and a team of knowledgeable individuals from Lux.
